Cassie De Colling

Cassie De Colling is an award-winning Australian director with a knack for impact-driven storytelling. With a career spanning over a decade, she has worked around the world on projects spanning across documentary, advertising and VR. Her most recent documentary Precious Leader Women took the 2021 Banff Mountain Film Festivals Peoples Choice Award. In 2019, De Colling’s documentary short Allie premiered at Tropfest where it took 3rd Place and won the award for Best Cinematography. 

In 2017, Cassie was nominated for Best Director in advertising by the Australian Directors Guild for her work for the University of Melbourne, which was shot on location in Afghanistan. 

In all of her work, De Colling uses filmmaking to capture honest moments. She unpacks and celebrates the human condition through relatable struggles and perspectives. Cassie's incredible storytelling sensibilities are highly sought after in the commercial world due to the cinematic and emotive tone she creates.
