Cassie De Colling

Cassie is an award-winning Australian director with a knack for impact-driven storytelling. She works around the world on projects spanning across documentary, advertising and VR. Most recently, Cassie's film 'Allie' received third place at Tropfest, as well as taking out the award for Best Cinematography.

In 2017, Cassie was nominated for Best Director in advertising by the Australian Directors Guild for her work for the University of Melbourne, which was shot on location in Afghanistan. Her VR film Uku360º was also accepted into the competitive Sheffield Doc Fest Alternate Realities market and is now distributed internationally.

This, combined with her love for adventure, has led her to work in some of the most extreme conditions in the world from the belt of the Himalayan mountaintops, through to dense remote jungles of south-east Asia, and Pacific and Indian oceans. However, Cassie's incredibly storytelling sensibilities are highly sought after in the commercial world due to the cinematic and emotive tone she creates
